Project Administrator
As a Project Administrator with GRIT Engineering, you will be embedded into the project delivery team and be responsible for assisting our Project Managers with project administration. This is a role for someone who enjoys working and relating to a wide range of people, likes variety and action in their role and being the person who ensures things are happening and every detail is accurate. You will be working as part of a dedicated team committed to what they do and you’ll learn something new every day. Our ideal individual will also bring reading and writing skills and experience to support the team with proofreading, editing and structuring of communications and reports.

The Challenge:
Support our Project Managers delivering engineering and asset management projects.
Project set up and administration in Projectworks (project management software).
Maintain the project log, tracking project tasks and deadlines.
Assist with financial processes such as earned value analysis, invoice preparation and timesheet administration.
Organise meetings, take minutes and manage correspondence.
Assist with Health & Safety processes and procedures for each project and the company.
Contribute to the on-going development and improvement of efficient systems and processes.
Your Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of project administration and/or contract administration experience, ideally in an engineering consultancy/ construction organisation.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and a high level of initiative.
A keen eye for detail and exceptional organisation skills.
Confident/ effective interpersonal skills – get the best out of a wide mix of people.
Reading & writing experience/skills (proofreading, editing, structuring). Report writing experience/skills would be an advantage
Have a sense of humour, an appetite for fun and a laugh along the way.
