David brings more than 25 years of finance and operations experience to GRIT, having worked with businesses through periods of growth, change and transformation across technology, listed companies, international organisations and professional services. His role as GM is a deliberate one: to run the business smoothly behind the scenes so GRIT's technical teams can focus on what they do best.
What drives David isn't the transactions, it's the people. Looking back across periods of rapid growth, acquisitions and an IPO, what stands out most is seeing individuals and teams grow in confidence and capability, and knowing the environment around them made that possible. He gets real satisfaction from bringing clarity to complexity, and his role at GRIT is built around exactly that: giving talented people the space and support to do their best work for clients.
Outside of work, David makes the most of the Kiwi lifestyle with family and friends, whether that's on the water, in the mountains, or out on the motorbike. He's also a self-confessed technology enthusiast, particularly interested in where AI can make life and business a little simpler.
