Rachael Arnold

Senior Project Coordinator
PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner

Rachael's path into project management started somewhere unexpected: an electrical engineering firm in the UK during her OE, where she discovered a genuine passion for engineering, infrastructure and health and safety. That foundation has taken her across sectors and back again, most recently managing the nationwide rollout of a major project in healthcare before returning to an engineering environment at GRIT. The timing was good for everyone.

Rachael's role at GRIT is a new one for the business, focused on leading internal projects, streamlining processes and driving continuous improvement, while also supporting the wider project delivery team. She's a PRINCE2-qualified practitioner, having completed both her Foundation and Practitioner certifications while working full time. What she enjoys most is getting her teeth into a complex problem and seeing it through to a clean outcome. Challenge and authenticity are the values she connects with most strongly at GRIT, and the two are linked for her: you can only do your best work when you're being straight about what the problem actually is.

Outside of work, Rachael keeps things nicely balanced between the gym, a good book, the occasional baking project and walking her in-laws' dog along the beach.
