Stadium Structural Investigation
Client - Whangarei District Council Date - 2020The Semenoff Stadium is a critical asset for Whangarei District Council. The WDC Asset Managers raised multiple structural and durability issues related to the grandstand structure.
GRIT was engaged to carry out a condition and seismic assessment of the steel structure supporting the grandstand while developing a repair scope that considered the durability of the structure and the likely requirements for maintenance over its remaining design life.
Working with Sika and United Civil various repairs and modifications were made around the stadium to ensure the venue is safe and available for upcoming events.
