BE (MECH) 1st CLASS HONOURS, AMIMechE, CAAM, AMPP Basic Coatings Inspector (NACE Level 1)Chris is a highly qualified Mechanical Engineer with 14 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering within complex industrial sites. He has extensive knowledge of integrity, management, and asset management due to his years of involvement with large-scale industrial projects and integrity management of one of New Zealand’s largest industrial plants, the New Zealand Refinery. His extensive knowledge around corrosion, durability, inspection, and repair techniques are impeccable.
During his career, Chris has lead complex engineering inspection and quality assurance teams on projects, both large and small, and routine maintenance, including large turnarounds delivering complex projects of varying sizes (from NZD$200k all the way to NZ$365m) including ‘The New Venture, Te Mahi Hou Project’ and ‘Point Forward Project’ for Refining NZ.
Chris is an enthusiastic dedicated professional, who is highly self-motivated, always striving to add value and improve systems whilst bringing his robust mechanical engineering knowledge and strong leadership in the delivery of projects to the highest of standards.
